Speed range: 0.35× to 2.5×. Interpolation: bezier.

Best for

Shape

Monotonic deceleration: 2.5× down to 0.35×, with the knee at 70%. There is no peak and no recovery — the clip ends at its slowest.

Why it works

A reveal is a single question ("what is it?") and a single answer. Decelerating the whole way in delays the answer without ever cutting away from it.

How to shoot for it

A push-in on a gimbal or drone, ending on the subject. Shoot 60 fps; the last 15% plays at 0.35–0.45×.

Tips

FAQ

Why does it start at 2.5× rather than 1×?
Because the approach is the boring part. Starting fast means the whole clip can be one continuous deceleration instead of a flat stretch followed by a ramp.
